Vault: Transfer Downloaded Files from a WebShield Session to Your Host Machine

This guide explains how to easily transfer files that you've downloaded within a VaultOne WebShield session back to your local computer (host machine).

Download the File within the WebShield Session​

First, access the website through a WebShield session and download the file you need. The file will be saved in a temporary download directory within that session.

Open the Clipboard Area​

Once the file has been downloaded within the WebShield session, press the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + Shift. This will open the Clipboard Area, which acts as the bridge between your WebShield session and your host machine.

Transfer the File to Your Host System​

  1. Within the Clipboard Area, navigate to the directory where the file was saved from your download.
  2. Once you find the file, double-click it.
  3. Your local machine's browser will then initiate the download, and the file will be saved to your host machine's default download location.
